FileZilla برنامج نقل ملفات شرعي مخصص للوصول المصرح به إلى الخوادم وإدارة البيانات. ويجب على المستخدمين الالتزام بجميع القوانين المحلية والوطنية والدولية المعمول بها عند استخدام FileZilla أو أي عميل FTP.
تشمل الاستخدامات المسموح بها إدارة المواقع على خوادم تملكها أو لديك إذن صريح للوصول إليها، ونقل الملفات لأغراض مشروعة، وإدارة الخوادم ضمن مسؤوليتك المؤسسية، ونسخ البيانات احتياطيا من أنظمة بعيدة مصرح بها.
تشمل الاستخدامات المحظورة الوصول إلى الخوادم دون تصريح، أو رفع/توزيع محتوى غير قانوني، أو تجاوز تدابير الأمان على أنظمة لا تملكها، أو استخدام FileZilla ضمن نشاط ضار، أو مخالفة شروط الخدمة لمزودي الاستضافة أو مشغلي الشبكات.

شفافية المصدر المفتوح
يتم توزيع FileZilla Client بموجب GNU GPL v2.0. وهذا يعني أن الكود المصدري الكامل متاح للفحص العام والتدقيق الأمني المستقل والمساهمة المجتمعية. وعلى خلاف عملاء FTP الاحتكاريين، لا توجد مكونات مخفية أو أقسام شيفرة مبهمة أو سلوكيات شبكة غير معلنة في الإصدار المفتوح المصدر.

FileZilla performs exactly the functions visible in its user interface: connecting to FTP/SFTP servers and transferring files.
Antivirus false positives are a known and documented issue affecting FileZilla and other legitimate network utilities. These false positives typically arise from:
- ● Heuristic detection engines flagging any application capable of network file transfers
- ● Historical bundled optional software in third-party download wrappers (not in the core client)
- ● Outdated or overly aggressive antivirus definitions that have not whitelisted FileZilla
